The day we wore our very first custom hoodie, average JOE&CO was at the cafeteria at PRHC, the local hospital here in Peterborough Ontario. After many second glances from strangers, a man asked “where did you get your sweat shirt”. After a short conversation, we were told his story. As our conversation ended, he told us that seeing the message on the back of the hoodie made him feel “not so alone in such a scary world.” And THAT is the intention behind average JOE&CO.
Encouragement is a wonderful thing. It doesn’t become less when it’s given- it becomes more…an abundance of it even. It is contagious. Spread support by cheering for others, in the company of friends, classmates, teammates, colleagues, or by quietly sitting in the park watching a chipmunk look for it’s treasure.
The best thing about had days is that they DO pass. Accept the challenge and determine your mindset. Resiliency is a necessary skill. You are not alone.
